• Determined the income and expenditures that correspond to SIME and the University respectively from all the RT-PCR tests, supporting the Finance and Accounting Departments. • Produced executive financial and statistical reports of RT-PCR tests (COVID-19) for the decision-making process of the main authorities of SIME and San Francisco University. • Conducted the numeric and statistical analysis of the COVID-19 RT-PCR tests, to evaluate and keep track of the behavior and development of the COVID pandemic in Ecuador's capital, the highlands, the Amazonic populations, the Galápagos Islands, and most of the coastal region.

• Led the implementation of all the surveillance documents (associated with safeguards) necessary to import products derived from steel and home and store appliances, contributing to salvage a 100% of the national industry which produced these goods. Managed customer service for all this industry to ensure citizens’ satisfaction.• Ensured a dozen safeguards and antidumping investigations at the Trade Remedies Authority of the Ecuadorian Government, promoting the recovery of 80% of the national producers of steel, white goods, and food industry.• Trained 60% of producers, exporters and importers of agribusiness and industrial products in all the tools against unfair trade practices, to defend their outputs. • Generated more than 50 international commerce and trade remedies studies and reports, supporting the fulfillment of the Ministry’s objective of stimulating Ecuador’s trade growth.

• Led a team of 6 people in providing advice to the Minister and Deputy Minister in the forecast and behavior of a 100% of Ecuadorian exports, imports, foreign direct investment, and logistics of goods and services.• Conducted the development of all the data information used on the Ministry’s first historic and statistical trade publication, entitled “Ecuadorian Foreign Trade Outlook 2007 – 2016”.

• Represented the Ministry in all trade matters with the embassies and commerce delegates of the diplomatic representations of the Republic of Korea, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, Japan, China, Indonesia, Egypt, South Africa, and Australia.• Took part in the strategic rounds of negotiations to the highest technical level of rules of origin, trade remedies, and non-agricultural market access of the trade agreement between Ecuador and the Republic of Korea.

• Produced executive documents about the top 10 main export and import goods and services, and top 10 countries of origin of foreign direct investment.• Led the examination of all statistical documents to be passed for the Minister’s revision.• Joined the Minister as his economic advisor in the official trips of the Ministry to the Rep. of Korea and Vietnam.• Prepared all the crucial inputs for the increase of Ecuadorian export products and the number of foreign companies investing in Ecuador, for the Minister’s official trips to Turkey, India, the European Union, and the United States, among others.

• Worked directly with the highest authority in the development of economic analyses and reports about the behavior of the social security’s health system, its active members both urban and rural, its pensioners, and occupational risks, to propose solutions and actions which improved the country’s social security system.• Supervised the execution of the institution’s outcomes and its strategic plan to ensure the optimal use of the social security’s urban and rural health centers, its medicines, and medical supplies, as well as the proper payment of pensions and due compliance of occupational risks regulation.

• Created statistical studies and reports directed to the Minister and Deputy Minister for their decision making, in important areas such as agriculture and agribusiness, livestock, aquaculture, fishery, international trade, foreign direct investment, taxation, employment, transportation, and logistics.• Generated analytical modeling as inputs for the implementation of strategic resolutions on agriculture and agribusiness, aquaculture and fishery, livestock, and foreign trade.
