Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I specialized in Adults and Gerontology Primary Care. I care for adult patients throughout their lifespan from 18 years and up. I received my undergraduate degree from AdventistHealth University in Orlando, Fl and obtained my Masters degree of Science in Nursing with Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. My nursing philosophy as a Nurse Practitioner goes back to my undergraduate studies where I learned The Betty Newman Nursing Theory and I use it in my practice daily. It is to use a holistic approach to patient care by identifying stressors that are impacting the patient as a whole person; physiological, psychological, socially, and environmental.I have worked for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center which are word class teaching hospitals in Boston, MA where I have learned from the best. I have worked as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, a consultant for inpatient services at Emory Decatur Hospital and Piedmont Rockdale Hospital and now currently caring for patients in the outpatient setting in Primary Care at CommunityMD.I serve patients in the Atlanta area and offer my diverse cultural background skills and bilingual skills in the English and Spanish language throughout the community.I enjoy exploring the ATL.
