I have 15 years of experience as a leader in multiple facets of social media, from strategy to content creation to social media policy management. At U.S. Bank, I lead the social content team, responsible for content production across all major social channels and management of the company’s global social media policy. In collaboration with Public Relations, Business Line Marketing, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, I participate in crisis communications planning, community management, performance analytics and measurement, executive thought leadership and social sales enablement. I am equal parts strategy and hands-on doing: Recent accomplishments have included assembling our first 100% internal creative studio for content production, serving as host of a social-first video series, and directing quarterly photo shoots to capture original images that align with our brand. I also serve as chief editor of all social media posts visible on the company’s main social media pages. Prior to my social media experience, I was a professional journalist, a discipline that serves me well in corporate environments. You can’t put a price on clear writing, deadline instincts and the ability to ask just the right question in the service of storytelling.
