Remember when career success was defined by how swiftly you moved UP? Me too. It wasn’t a good time.Luckily, the collective vision for a fulfilling career is now about going deeper, not higher. This new leadership model can take time to embody. You have to reject external validation as the measurement of success and start living from the INSIDE OUT.How’s your journey?Let me guess: your youngest kid just turned two. As the fog lifts ☀️ , you realize your priorities are as important as their needs.Start here: How’s work? It’s “fine.” And so are you. You’re a senior manager now, maybe even a director or executive. Am I right? If so, you might be asking yourself “what do I do now?”Here’s the thing: “Fine” is the dirtiest four letter F word out there. Here are some choices to change it: 🔹 You can stay on your current path and find success. Lead a winning team. Experience a few moments of authentic happiness.🔹But you’re not fulfilled. Something’s missing. You can’t put your finger on what. And if you could…would you even believe it was possible? Here’s a better place to start:☀️ 𝐇𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬☀️ Before you act, pause for 30 seconds to note your emotions. When you acknowledge them, your desire might shift. If it does, move with it.☀️ 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬☀️ For one hour, label thoughts as helpful, harmful, or neutral. Ask your mind for evidence to support the bad stuff. Chances are, it won’t have any.☀️ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥☀️ I don’t mean set small goals – I mean PLAY. Take one joyful step towards one exciting goal and see where you land. Then, keep going. Growing up in a small, North Carolina town taught me “community” doesn’t always equal “belonging.” Maya Angelou expanded that for me by teaching me to fit in anywhere, you have to first belong to yourself. And as a recovering project manager, I know that success starts with a great plan. And I’ve got cred:– Published Coach & Leadership Expert– 15+ Years in Leadership & Change Management– PCC Certified, International Coaching Federation– CPCC Certified, Co-Active Training Institute– Certified Mental Wellness Coach★ "With her clear, authentic guidance and master skillset, Karen helped me navigate sticky moments, tricky shifts, and tough conversations, which led me up a path of personal and professional success."~ Spencer Martel ★ “Karen is a true gem of a human, and because of her genuine, caring nature, she excels at this kind of work: helping others to succeed and find their paths.”~ Shannon Bush

Leadership And Confidence CoachEmpowerlead 2019 - PresentDenver, Co, UsFlashback to that moment – years ago – when a manager told you to “fake it till you make it.”Their advice might have been well-intended, but it was NOT well-received. ☀️ You internalized it.☀️Ever since, you’ve been convinced that your authentic self is incompatible with effective leadership.
