Managed home office support to programs in Bangladesh and South Sudan, including financial, contractual, and technical aspects of program implementation. Provided leadership and oversight on financial, operational and administrative issues, including cash flow and budgeting, grant and subcontract management, staffing and recruitment, and activity planning. Contributed to technical deliverables and program planning including political parties and countering violent extremism programming in Bangladesh, and civil society strengthening in South Sudan.

Provided program management and oversight and led business development efforts on Asia programs, specializing in civil society strengthening, elections, conflict mitigation and CVE, and political participation of marginalized groups, particularly in the context of closing democratic space. Portfolio included Bangladesh, Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Papua New Guinea.

Served as technical lead on the Stability in Key Areas (SIKA)-North program in the field and managed programmatic staff including Program Managers, Grant Writers, and Capacity Building Advisors. SIKA was designed to provide civil society with platforms to hold their government accountable, strengthen community resiliencies against violent extremism, and strengthen the capacity of local government to work with community leaders and govern effectively.Liaised with the Afghan Government, USAID, NGOs, and US Military to align donor activities with SIKA programming strategy and represent the program at high-level meetings and events . Leveraged over $750k in funds for SIKA activities through US military (CERP) funds.

Directed a field team of Program Managers and Officers, Engineers, and Grant Writers for two districts in Northern Afghanistan. Designed activities such as peacebuilding trainings, civil society mobilization events, town hall meetings, capacity building workshops for civil servants, and alternative dispute resolution forums.Responsible for all administrative, financial, and programmatic management of the two districts. Oversaw monitoring and evaluation of activities and design and implementation of gender strategy.

Contributed to thought leadership, proposal development, and knowledge management of DAI's workforce development and youth programming. Managed data collection and designed survey guides and data collection tools for value chain research; contributed to sector mapping and writing assessments; conducted desk research for new business opportunities; developed training materials for internal trainings; and wrote thought pieces for the economic growth department.

Worked with the Grants Department and M&E team to analyze the implementation and impact of all ASMED grants over the course of the 5-year project. Tracked and managed the completion of all outstanding grant final reports. Conducted site visits, interviews, and reviews of grantee performance to complete grant file records, and created success stories and lessons learned. Provided narrative inputs and compiled data for ASMED’s weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Responded to USAID data calls and on-demand requests.

Worked with a community based organization (CBO) – Ablornu Development Committee – on identification, development, and implementation of several community development projects, including management of a community center, water management, and income-generating activities. Liaised with village chiefs, provincial government officials, private sector actors, NGOs, and technical experts to coordinate stakeholders’ objectives, facilitate dialogue, secure funding, and ensure sustainability. Conducted two household surveys for priority identification and ongoing project monitoring, and as baseline data for M&E and impact evaluations. Analyzed data for use in program design.

Managed the development and implementation of program activities for AABN’s gender, enterprise development, and governance portfolios. Supported governance programming for post-conflict and transitioning countries including Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Côte d’Ivoire. Alongside the Executive Director, developed and delivered a 3-day public policy curriculum for post-conflict leaders through a World Bank grant. Worked with government leaders and civil society activists to develop frameworks for enhancing cooperation and promoting stability, trust, and confidence during reconstruction and development.Led the design and piloting of Micro-Link, an enterprise development and access to finance program for women-owned businesses. Conducted field research to inform program design including surveys and interviews with NGOs, women’s groups, banks, and government entities.
