I was able to gain his trust and in so doing opened the doors to helping him with immigration difficulties, discrimination in housing, and simply not having enough money to survive. Reached individuals with schizophrenia and drug and alcohol addiction. Helped the very ill cope with death and dying and assisted them in saying their final goodbyes with dignity and grace.
