Prior to becoming an in-house lawyer, I worked for over 15 years' at large law firms in New Zealand and Australia. Over that time I specialised in financial services regulations, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate contracting and litigation. In particular I have advised corporates, financial institutions, and supervisors about their:- licensing and registration requirements- corporate governance issues and developments, including the duties owed by their directors and the conduct and culture initiatives- anti-money laundering obligations, including reviewing compliance programmes and advising on liability issues- advertising and collateral, including the preparation of offer documents- capital raising initiatives.
