Assisted in planning conversion of 200 separate applications into one that supports 40,000 users simultaneously. One application serves the needs of the national administrative branch, while allowing interaction with the application supporting the chapters and their individual members.At the chapter level- Oversaw data conversion of chapter’s online application from one vendor to another using extract, transform and load (ETL) tools. The new application enabled Enterprise Social Media which included separate group webpages, email, document storage as well as form building. Converted paper forms to a database application allowing prospective members to register online for various events. Created application to allow users to transmit money between any bank account in the US using a mobile phone or desktop. Designed data model, created DDL, database, setup hosted environment. Hired and managed several developers to work on the project. The environment used: Linux, Oracle 11g, Oracle Application Server, Apache, MySQL, SQL Server, AWS, and Jira. Oracle’s rapid application development tool, APEX, was used to create mobile and desktop versions. Responsible for 100% of architecture design and backend development. Created a native mobile version of the application approved by Apple. MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint used during the project.

As a consultant: Created web based stock option intranet application using PL/SQL stored procedures on Sun Solaris. Used new features of Oracle 8, nested tables and web html packages. Installed Web Server 3.0 and Oracle 8 for NT personal development before deploying on UNIX. Created Data Mart with web front end for use by telephone operators, building security, and athletic facility. The application used new Oracle 8 features which improve performance for storage/retrieval of large items, such as pictures. The Oracle Web Application Server 3.0 was used, providing a reserved connection for an authenticated user's session. The load procedure was written using PL/SQL, SQL*NET V2 and korn shell. The database model was designed and implemented using Designer/2000. Installed Oracle 8 on Sun Solaris for the development environment. (Offered this job after working on Oracle's first Jobs Online application.)
