Animal Rescue of the Rockies is a Colorado 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats. We pull at-risk pets from shelters and place them in pre-qualified foster homes throughout the Denver and Front Range area, as well as Summit and Park Counties. Through our extensive foster network, adoption events, and website presence, Animal Rescue of the Rockies places an average of 1,900 dogs and cats into loving adoptive homes each year. So far we've helped thousands of orphaned pets find the forever homes they deserve. Our goal is to reach a time when shelters are no longer needed to house unwanted pets. This goal can be reached through collaborative efforts with other rescue organizations, shelters, and animal-loving individuals who work together towards this common goal. The pet overpopulation problem can be solved with spay/neuter programs, education, and the dedication of those who will never give up on these animals who literally depend on us for their lives.
