I was trained in event management. My main responsibility was organizing the Climate Story Lab-seminar. I was responsible for coordinating all aspects of the event, from booking speakers and arranging travel and accommodations to developing the seminar schedule and ensuring that everything ran smoothly during the event itself. Additionally, I provided support during the festival, assisting the organizers with a range of practical tasks, including decorating, enforcing COVID-19 regulations, managing crowds, overseeing volunteers, and providing translations from German to English for introductory speeches.

In my role as an area manager, I worked full-time during the summer and part-time throughout the rest of the year. My primary responsibility was to oversee a team of store managers, providing guidance and support while serving as a point of contact for employees who encountered conflicts or difficulties with their managers. In addition, I was responsible for managing and supporting approximately 20 stores during my shifts. This included handling employee illness, resolving technical issues, providing assistance to employees during challenging situations, and organizing store operations to maximize profitability.

As a seasonal store manager, I oversaw a store that offered both souvenirs and food. In this role, I managed a team of 20 employees, providing training, support, and coaching as needed. In addition, I was responsible for ensuring that all operations complied with Norwegian law, including creating and maintaining shift lists and adhering to regulations established by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

As a member of the recruiting team, I played a key role in hiring seasonal employees during two winter seasons. My responsibilities included conducting both individual and group interviews with job candidates. In my recruitment efforts, I prioritized identifying promising young talent who may not have had extensive prior experience, but who showed potential for growth and success in new challenges. By seeking out and hiring these individuals, I helped to build a diverse and dynamic team capable of delivering outstanding results.

In my role as a swimming instructor, I was responsible for organizing, planning, and delivering courses for children at various levels. This included working with children who were being introduced to the water for the very first time, as well as more experienced swimmers who were training to compete at a high level. These positions included serving as a parking attendant, lifeguard, carousel operator, ticket seller, and animal guide.
