During my PhD, I am also responsible for daily supervising Master's thesis students, helping them to deliver a valuable report in order to obtain the degree of Master of Engineering Science (Mechanical Engineering), degree of Master of Engineering Technology and the MaNaMa degree of Management and Healthcare Policy. In addition, I am involved with some teaching activities, mainly exercise sessions:- Engineering Economy- Simulation of industrial environments- Transportation and mobility management: simulation experience- Management game: new product development- Operations and project management- Engineering and quality management

The Ecorace-Challenge is a competition organized by two Belgian waterway managers, nv De Scheepvaart and Waterwegen en Zeekanaal NV. The challenge? Build an ecological vessel based on an innovative drive train and perform several challenges: sprint, slalom, endurance, ….During every challenge, the performance of each vessel is measured and judged by a professional jury. The teams have to explain the design of their vessel and also present and defend their business plan. During this presentation, they need to make clear which innovative techniques and materials will be useful for the inland waterway navigation.
