I am a lawyer, wellness and mental health advocate, and educator. I serve as a partner at Dolan Law, where my career has been dedicated to representing clients who have experienced traumatic injuries and been victims of crime. To enhance my ability to support and deepen my understanding of mental health, I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Recognizing the growing mental health challenges within the legal profession, I proudly serve as Secretary on the Board of the Illinois Lawyers Assistance Program, a board member of the Mindfulness in Law Society, and co-chair of the CBA's Well-being & Mindfulness committee. In these roles, I help guide efforts to provide critical mental health and wellness education and support to our legal community.In 2021, I was honored to be elected President of Ascend Justice after serving as a board member since 2016. This three-year term deepened my commitment to advocating for individuals and families impacted by gender-based violence, further reinforcing my passion for supporting those affected by trauma.With a longstanding background in psychology, I have always recognized the importance of workplace wellness. This awareness led me to yoga, which has been a grounding and transformative practice in my life for over 20 years. Inspired by its profound benefits, I became a certified instructor, enabling me to share this practice with others.Today, I channel my passion for wellness into presentations, teaching yoga, writing, and developing workshops that promote mental health and resilience within the legal profession. Through my work with legal committees, law firms, and organizations, I strive to cultivate healthier, more supportive environments for legal professionals.
