It is with some excitement that I announce a new development role in the Health & Safety industry and feel privileged to be helping a local Welsh organisation CoreGenic, a family run firm that between them all, has a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years. They have just reached their fifth anniversary and I am joining them at a time where more companies seek professional advice around increasingly complex regulations and understanding health & safety / environmental standards, also where staff training is key to successful outcomes for both staff and managers alike. My role is to drive business development and their growth strategy working in all industry sectors, which includes working with commercial business’s, construction contractors and within the third sector. CoreGenic’s reputation means everything to them, already I have seen them going the extra mile for their customers, abiding by their core values and it is the perfect company for me to work with. Being a part of a team, that’s role is to ensure our customers achieve the very highest Health and Safety standards required by law to protect their staff is now my priority.

My role at Thrive Group Wales was to grow the business and provide strategic management and leadership within the enterprise. The companies aim was to develop Thrive; a recently established social enterprise and a trading arm of Thrive Womens Aid formerly Port Talbot and Afan Women’s Aid. We provided family friendly employment opportunities for those furthest from the labour market, whilst creating a sustainable income stream then for thrive women’s aid domestic abuse services in the future. My role was to secure long term business contracts to ensure the aims of the enterprise were fulfilled. In my time at TGW we successfully completed the purchase of Playhem Play Centre in Port Talbot and grew the cleaning side of the business by 70%.
