At Layne Advisory we provide sales consulting and fractional executive services for startups, early-stage companies and legacy businesses. We create structure and scalability in the sales process through implementation of pipeline management, KPIs, and revenue driven objectives and commission plans. We work with management to qualify and develop high performing individuals to form a cohesive and productive team that is focused on revenue growth and client retention.

Joined FXall in 2001 shortly after the launch of the company. Member of the Executive Team that led to the successful IPO of FXall in early 2012, subsequent acquisition by Thomson Reuters in late 2012, spinoff to Refinitiv in 2018, and subsequent sale to London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in 2021. Played an integral role in driving growth, shaping platform strategy and integrating the business with each change in ownership.

LSEG acquired Refinitiv in 2021.Led a team of Relationship Managers and New Business Salespeople with the objective to drive trading revenue growth from buyside and sellside clients using FXall and Matching.

Refinitiv (the Financial and Risk Division of Thomson Reuters) was spun off in 2018.Led a team of Relationship Managers and New Business Salespeople with the objective to drive revenue growth from corporate, asset manager, hedge fund and bank clients using FXall and Matching. Took on additional responsibility for New Business Sales team in 2018 with primary focus on acquiring new clients and increasing transactions revenue on FXall and Matching. Focused on driving trading volume growth on the platforms, increasing revenue through cross sell and upsell of additional products and functionality, and maintaining a high client retention rate. Significantly improved effectiveness of the combined RM and New Business team through reorganization of existing personnel and processes. Selected and mentored new managers to become successful leaders of their respective areas. Set strategic objectives and developed commission plans to drive revenue growth from new and existing clients.

Thomson Reuters acquired FXall in late 2012Member of the Executive Team involved in the acquisition of FXall by Thomson Reuters and the subsequent integration of FXall with the Financial and Risk division of Thomson Reuters. Assumed responsibility for Reuters Matching FX Transactions business in the Americas in 2016 and created an integrated FX coverage team across FXall and Matching. Given responsibility for REDI equity trading platform relationship management team as a result of the acquisition of REDI in 2017.

One of the original employees to join FXall shortly after the launch of the company and Member of the Executive Team that led the successful IPO in 2012. Designed and implemented client coverage model from launch and evolved the model to optimize coverage, deliver consistent revenue growth and client retention. Played an integral role in shaping platform strategy, collaborating with the Product team to identify and prioritize additional features and product enhancements to drive revenues.

Responsible for acquiring new clients for startup interest rate derivatives trading platform.
