For this project, I:◆ Increased production from approximately 100K oil barrels (bbl) per day to 1.2M per day.◆ Expedited the release of critical equipment by refocusing the specification effort to minimum acceptable criteria, reducing the level of effort by 60%. The Point Thomson Project in Alaska had a budget of $500M and a team of 60 staff & 150 contractors. ◆ I served as the mechanical engineer overseeing mechanical equipment, piping equipment, and bulk packages.◆ And I managed and implemented the technical alert process, expediting engineering completion. The Kizomba Satellite Topsides in Angola had a budget of $1.1B and a team of 60 staff & 150 contractors. My major duties and accomplishments included: ◆ Overseeing produced water preassembled unit (PAU), approving specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, and vendor data, as well as over 200 engineering deliverables. ◆ Leading a PAU modularization study to reduce labor hours, resulting in estimated costs savings of $18M - $25M. The East Area NGL Gas Project offshore of Nigeria had a budget of $1.3B and a team of 100 staff & 250 contractors. I had many significant contributions, among them:◆ I managed the coordination and execution of a critical equipment standardization change, allowing for interchangeability of capital spares, yielding costs savings of $9M.◆ I developed a procurement database to manage procurement issues and progress.
