Karen Saunders is the President of KXS Consulting and is currently contracted as a Business Transformation Manager with Flagler College in St Augustine, Florida, where she lives. Born and raised in the Roanoke Virginia area, Karen began her career in banking, where her performance was quickly recognized, having received four promotions within the first year and a half of her career. During her tenure, Karen became the software trainer for new employees at the bank, before her promotion into management. After leaving banking and entering the world of higher education in 1990, her passion for learning was fueled, earning both her undergraduate and graduate degrees as an adult from the prestigious women’s university, Hollins. This passion for higher education and training would continue as Karen began her career at Datatel, training and consulting on client implementations throughout the country. As president of KXS Consulting, Karen’s greatest satisfaction comes from supporting clients in their software implementations, streamlining business processes, and assisting in the training of campus constituents.
