This enabled the UK branch to comply with US headquarter’s resource management goals in water, waste and energy.

Conducted leading year long research programme, coordinating team of three and achieving a high response / interview rate whilst meeting budget requirements.

Research Officer, full time, for leading European environmental think tank. Expanded the Institute's reputation and acted as environmental / agricultural policy expert, evaluating various EU environmental legislation for the EU Commission. Worked closely with 6 EU Member States, building relations with NGOs, policy makers and academics and published reports in conjunction with Senior advisers and Institute Directors.

Volunteer parliamentary campaign assistant before being recruited for a temporary paid 6 month Campaign Assistant role in Biodiversity. Assisted with campaigns to raise the profile of forestry and biodiversity issues (including the campaign for the CROW Act 2020). Influenced government and corporations by directly targeting CSR programmes, increasing local FoE membership and engagement and administering the activities of 25+ volunteer local groups.

Research Assistant for two leading environmental think tanks at the University of East Anglia.Conducted wide public stakeholder surveys on key pieces of environmental legislation to understand public perception of risk. Gathered quantifiable data, statistically analysed and contributed to consultancy reports for clients including UK Statutory bodies. In addition to these 6 months, 3 months of summer work was undertaken in 1996 and 1997.
