• When Mullen Library does not have a book, article, or other item a student or professor requests, I and my colleagues ask other libraries if we could borrow it through various types of resource sharing: the Washington.

• Supervised the circulation desk and scheduled work for 3 library clerks at the U.S. Geological Survey Library via a federal contractor.

• Worked for a federal contractor at the U.S. Geological Survey Library in Reston, Virginia
• Learned the unique USGS Library classification system in order to properly re-shelve books and maps as well as locate items for interlibrary loan requests

• Obtained a Public Trust clearance in order to work on U.S. federal property

• Supervised the library circulation desk several hours per day until the library closed with a couple of student employees at one time (20 different student employees during a semester)
• Checked IDs of people entering the library after 9:00 p.m.
• Since the reference desk closed before the library closed, we needed to be prepared to answer any type of question, or know when to recommend the patron ask a subject librarian.

Atlanta, Georgia

• At CNN Headline News 1990-1992: Gathered videotapes and scripts for upcoming 30-minute newscasts, operated the TelePrompter according to the needs of the news anchor and operated the camera for live television based on.
• CNN Library 1992-1994: Part of a team of catalogers who examined news videotape to determine what should be kept and described content of video in order to make it easy for staff to find years later.
