Karen is National Practice Leader for Clayton Utz Environment and Planning and has more than 25 years' experience in the field. She is well regarded as a trusted adviser to many public and private sector entities on their corporate environmental compliance, in strategic management of environment and planning development approvals and the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process for major infrastructure. Her client base includes property, mining, manufacturing and government entities. With an in-depth understanding of the approval processes, both at the State and Commonwealth level, Karen assists her clients to secure development rights and develop the business case for infrastructure projects, master planned communities, transport projects, local government development and urban regeneration. Karen is a strong advocate of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace is an advocate of her team's professional as well as personal development, and giving back to the community. She has played a significant role in diversity and community initiatives through her involvement in the Clayton Utz Diversity Council (as current executive), the Clayton Utz Foundation (as previous board member), Clayton Utz's national women's initiative, (Momentum) and as sponsor for the PCA 500 Women in Property.
