Business Financial Strategics Initiatives (BFSI) is a department within UC Merced. BFSI provides resources for ensuring the strategic execution and prioritization of campus initiatives through comprehensive analysis, rigorous project management, and progressive organizational development.My responsibilities as a Student Assistant at BFSI include:-Proactively facilitating the timely completion of department projects-Website format and concept building, design, and content management-Event planning and facilitation-Research: effective compilation and organization of information-Administrative assistance: Downloading, uploading, and organizing documents through various medias.-Actively enhancing skills set such as: database design and creation, graphic design

-Researched fundamental concepts of fuel cells, and the mechanics of fuel cell driven systems.-Aided in establishing the first phase of a Fuel Cell - Solar Hydrogen Charging Station. The first phase included: researching and creating a proposal that conceptually validated a prototype design to be used for testing.

Aid in the development and set up of the Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Circuits labs with exposure and use of LabVIEW, rapid prototyping, and AutoCAD.

Responsible for creating, tracking, and logging purchase orders, managing returns, and shipping and receiving textbooks. As well as communicating between staff, students, and book companies to ensure that all their needs are met by the Student Store.
