Karen Utterback, MSN, RN is the CEO of Vigilant Health, a company focused on 'rethinking heathcare' that offers technology driven team-based health care to at risk payers including employers to not only bend but break the health care cost cure. Previously Karen was responsible for establishing McKesson’s Extended Care Solutions (Home Health, Hospice, and Remote Patient Monitoring Solutions) strategic direction for products and services. Karen joined the McKesson team in 2004 and brings many years of home care experience to the role, including patient care, clinical supervision, project management, and operations. She has served as President of the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Nurses Association, as a member of the Department of Health & Human Services Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Regulatory Reform and a member of the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Association for Home Care.
