I developed goals and lesson plans for 15 students that were off track in attendance, behavior and coursework. In KIPP, I collaborated with our City Year team and school staff to organize and facilitate whole school events and initiatives . As resource coordinator, I created community relationships and obtained donations for these events. We had received over $800 in donations for the students. I, also, served on the committee for Martin Luther King Jr. Day service project. This was a large scale school beautification project for MLK Day engaging over 350 volunteers and community members. I coordinated the Kid's Zone which enabled young volunteers to complete smaller service activities and benefit from the day of service. -
