With a combined 25+ years work experience in startups and non-profits within the floral industry, B2B2C green ecommerce space, and Higher Ed, Kari’s focus has always been on creating a memorable holistic customer/student/client experience and improving internal efficiencies through systematic approaches to every situation. Kari is currently Assistant Director at Gravity Water focused on scaling the US based programs to support building healthy clean water systems for communities around the world. She also volunteers as Operations Manager for WildTrack, combining AI technology and footprint tracking to protect endangered species.Her educational toolbox includes an MBA and a Certificate in Sustainable Operations from Presidio Graduate School. She also holds a BA in Studio Art, with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, and additional professional certificates in Business Administration, Landscape Design, and Plant Propagation. Personal interests include traveling, walking the trails with her rescued dogs, and finding ways to educate others on ways to protect and appreciate our natural world.
