I am a problem solver by nature. I like to ask "why", and then search for the answer. This makes data science the perfect fit for me. We are living in the era of the data revolution. Not only do our computers and smartphones produce a constant stream of data, but with the growth of the Internet of Things, everything from our cars, to our refrigerators, to our dog collars is generating data. Need data that isn't already being collected? No problem. With recent devices such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, it's a simple matter to create an unobtrusive device to collect the data you need. Data leads to information, and information leads to answers. Sometimes even answers to questions you didn't know you had before looking at the data.
