As a Senior Merchandise Planner and Allocation Manager, I have served as a business partner to the Buyer to analyze, plan, and forecast all financial data to support the merchandise strategies we have built. My focus has been to create and maintain the annual financial plans, build assortment/buy plans, oversee the allocation strategy, and provide analysis along the way.In my career, I have been a leader in developing tools and systems to bring ease to the daily job of planners. I have created an excel based assortment planning tool, and been a part of the implementation group for several planning and allocation systems.I have also been lucky enough to travel overseas to China and Hong Kong several times to visit factories and build assortment plans while working with our partners there.
