About Kari Rappold

With a career switch in July of 2022, I have honed my transferable skills to adapt to the corporate workplace. Through the help of my network, I have begun establishing a career with Lansing Building Products as the Training Specialist based in the Home Office.With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English and concentrations in Secondary Education, I have developed years of experience in instruction, communication with multiple stakeholders, curriculum and professional development implementation, alongside experience in instruction design, community engagement, data analysis, event planning, and more.In this new position, I have been expanding my professional network, training expertise, and building upon my established skills while becoming an asset to Team Lansing. Each day I live the mission statement and represent what it means to be True Blue. From being a full-time secondary classroom lead teacher in the past, as well as part-time work in sales and consulting, I have grown a passion for instructional design and team management resulting in a productive classroom environment, prepared students, increases in monthly sales, client retention, rapport, plus positive community engagement. I'm inspired when using my organizational skills to problem-solve, plan, and create while always valuing the opportunity to collaborate with others to find the best solution and plan for all parties. I believe in collaboration, life-long learning, being an ace communicator, remaining organized, adapting to all situations, and executing plans to the best of my ability.
