Chef Kari Rich began her career with a degree and training at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in California. Chef Rich worked in the fine dining scene for more than 13 years before starting her own food truck. She has studied under great chefs Alaine Redelsperger, Paul McCabe, Isabel Cruz, Jesse Paul, & Tony Disalvo. Chef Rich has mastered cooking cuisines from all over the world. Chef Rich was also the Executive Sous Chef of Optimal Nutrition Inc. which serviced personal meals for pro-athletes. Before opening the restaurant of Voyeur Night Club (Revolver) she worked at many fine dining restaurants and headed kitchens in the LA area before taking a job as Pastry Manager at Jack's La Jolla. From 2010-2012 Kari owned and operated FoodFarm Food Truck. FoodFarm focused on local farms and using whole ingredients with little to no waste. Chef Rich now focuses on consulting for local restaurants, catering small private parties, ghost and copy writing recipes for books, creating content and articles for food blogs, as well as teaching cooking classes that showcase the bounty of California produce. Chef Kari Rich has a passion for preparing local, organic, and sustainable food from scratch.
