I served as the AVP of Marketing and Government Relations for Cenikor Foundation. Cenikor is committed to helping people with substance abuse and behavioral health issues through a full continuum of care. Cenikor offers a variety of programs including short-term, long-term, detoxification, outpatient and adolescent programs with services throughout Texas and Louisiana. Its focus is to provide high-quality, affordable services to the clients and the communities it proudly serve. Cenikor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, proudly serving over 1,000 clients per week to achieve better health and better lives. Cenikor has extensive experience in providing a support system to treat the client as a whole. We help the client deal with their behavioral health issues and provide support for family, education and career services. Our purpose is to prepare and assist Cenikor clients with developing both soft and hard skills in order to become responsible citizens free of substance abuse. Cenikor's inpatient therapeutic community model uses peer influence and clinical counseling to help residents change attitudes, behaviors and perceptions associated with substance abuse.

I previously served as Account Executive for the Houston, TX office of Foster Marketing. Foster Marketing is a full-service marketing communication firm serving the worldwide energy industry. During my time at Foster, I was responsible for cultivating new client relationships while developing and implementing unique and strategic marketing plans for Foster’s clients. In addition to account management, I worked with our creative team and creatively directed campaigns, media development and production, public relations, events and more. I have an extensive background in advertising, marketing, corporate communications, media production, public relations, and non-profit and fundraising efforts which I employed for Foster's vast array of clientele.

I am pleased to join the SafeZone Safety systems team and provide business development and marketing services for the Houston marketplace. My team offers an array of services to fulfill our client's safety needs. We can provide everything from our state of the art safe welding enclosures, to on-site personnel that can fulfill the roles of safety technicians, confined space rescue crews, fire watch, and clerks. We can also provide regulatory and customized training programs for our client's employees at one of our Louisiana-based training center's or onsite at a client facility. As Director of G&PA, I managed the public relations for Black Elk Energy handling media relations, web collateral, print media and contact with members of the energy sector and government offices as required. I worked with our executive team on major projects and have been with the company since it began operations. I was also the liaison for our charity efforts, working directly with non-profit organizations for Black Elk's many charitable contributions. Further, I was the coordinator of all Black Elk charitable and energy sector events and enjoyed my work showcasing the positive impact that the company made on the team, the industry, the environment.
