The Big Hug was established to show the power of a simple act of kindness throughout the world. In an effort to celebrate Big Hug Day, Wagner and her team initiated hugs all over the world. India, Israel, the UK, Scotland, Ireland, Nicaragua, the Bahamas, and more all participated including 1,000 people hugging at Tropicana field, Broadway casts, The Chicago Cubs, The Dallas Mavericks, Tampa Bay Lightning and more all had their fans hugging as a way to show love for one another. The simple act of a hug transcends language and economic barriers.

BGold is a non-profit organization inspired by the Gold Rule: "Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated." It is composed of three Christian youth groups designed to teach kids how everyone can make a difference in the world. They study global regions, identify problems, and look for solutions. The kids respond to various needs but concentrate their efforts on disaster relief and have helped provide food and necessities to thousands after floods, hurricanes, fires, and tornados. The program is free and available to any students grades 1-12 in Central Florida.
