Indian, graduated in Engineering from Madras University (1981), Post-graduation in Structural Engineering from Madras University (1983) and Doctorate in Structural Mechanics from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1990). Started working in Finite Element software development during his post graduation and research work using FORTRAN and C.During his research work at IIT Madras, developed a software package COMSAP using SEMILOOF shell element for thermal stress and buckling analysis of laminated composite plates and shells, which was used in the design of AGNI Missile.Twenty Five years of experience in Finite Element software development and application to engineering problems, As Project Associate at FRP Research Center IIT Madras for one year, As Research scholar at IIT Madras for four years, As Technical Manager, Techno CAD Center, Madras for eight years, As Senior Manager, SPIC Ltd, Chennai for three years, As consultant to Industrial and Engineering Projects in India and Abroad in the field of FEM for automotive in Durability, NVH, Crash. Aerospace, Composite and mechanical engineering for Nine years.Published number of papers in International journals and also presented papers in international and national conferences.
