About Karien Tadros
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the UW Foster School of Business. I will be returning to the Foster School of Business to pursue the Master of Professional Accounting program (MPAcc) and be CPA eligible in 2025. By expanding my knowledge in accounting and data analysis, I hope to apply some of these skills/techniques in the real world and strive towards improving how audit and assurance are currently being performed. Besides my education, I am also passionate about music and I have been playing the violin for over ten years. I am currently a violinist at the UW Campus Philharmonic Orchestra and I have been a member of my high school’s orchestra where we participated in many competitions and events including W-ASTA, SKMEA, and the Messiah Christmas concert. I also have my own SoundCloud page where I upload violin covers of many different types of song genres. I was also chosen in 2018 to participate in the Sno-Kings Honors Festival at Edmonds Center for The Arts because of my demonstrated strong musical talent and skill where I got to perform with an amazing conductor and meet a lot of wonderful, talented musicians!
