I worked with the CEO and executive management team to develop digital communications, marketing, and event initiatives for the center and its programs. I lead the EERC Web and digital content marketing teams in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of the center's digital communications platforms, including public Web sites, eNewsletters, company blog, and social media. In addition, I also assisted in the planning and development of marketing initiatives, including developing materials in all mediums to market the EERC and its research programs. I represented the EERC and participate in communications and marketing meetings and events and participate in various groups and organizations on campus and in the greater community. As the official tour guide of the EERC, I was responsible for planning and conducting tours of the facilities, coordinating administrative and technical staff participation and tailoring tours based on the needs and interests of each group. As Events Manager, I planned, coordinated, and managed internal and external conferences, workshops, short courses, meetings, and special events for the EERC. I was responsible for all aspects of event planning, including leading efforts to select off-site locations, arranging meeting space, hotel blocks, meals, and entertainment; overseeing the registration process and associated database; coordinating pre-event setup; facilitating and managing daily on-site event logistics; coordinating teardown; and performing all postevent wrap-up activities.

Responsibilities included the development and maintenance of the EERC's Web site, including its design, organization, and content. In addition, I coordinated and facilitated administrative activities associated with conferences, workshops, short courses, and other EERC outreach activities nationwide.

Primary responsibilities included implementation of online ads, promotions, and partnerships on all Grand Forks Herald online properties; acted as a sales consultant to represent online avenues; developed plans and proposals for online campaigns; tracked online traffic and built related sales collateral; organized and implemented weekly online sales training; maintained regular contact with assigned accounts; and generated reports for all online campaigns.

Primary responsibilities included coordinating and overseeing the product testing process; identifying and developing product and sales leads for product test program; oversaw progress, negotiation, and product shipment of each test; developed product acquisition campaigns; created and maintained an accurate and detailed database of manufacturer contacts; and managed the “Member-Tested” section of Gardening How-To magazine.
