At the age of 60+, I was already retired, but now again an entrepreneur. Namely, I'm building the world's best nine hole par-3 golf course called Rock. In addition to that I will focus on urban planning of the land around the golf course, the construction of municipal technology and later the sale of plots of land. This new high standard residential area is called Rock Resort and it is situated in Pickala golf center in Siuntio, Finland.In addition to the Rock Resort real estate development project, I focus on enjoying life. Even though I switched back to being an entrepreneur, I can still be called a "lifestyle golfer." Previously I was working as a private Angel Investor. I have made investments in almost twenty companies. I am still a member of FiBAN - Finnish Business Angels Network ry, but I no longer make new start-up investments. Before that I worked in various positions in several ICT companies. The most significant of these was Digia Plc (ex-SysOpen). In June 1990 I was one of the three co-founders in SysOpen. After that I participated the operative management of SysOpen for 15 years and I was also a Member of the Board in the company for 25 years until March 2015. Today Digia is one of the biggest ICT companies in Finland and it has been listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki stock exchange since September 1999 (see more info http://www.digia.com). A company called Qt Group Plc demerged from Digia in May 2016 and it is now listed as a separate company on Helsinki stock exchange (see more info http://www.qt.io). I have written a book of the first 15 years of SysOpen history (in Finnish language).
