My role as a junior medical planner taps into a variety of skillsets that I've honed during my career in the healthcare market as well as my keen eye for technical detail. I have functioned in other important project roles beyond medical planning, including lead designer and BIM manager, so I understand how to effectively support a collaborative team. I'm often tasked with delivering documents for a variety of healthcare delivery markets including critical care access hospitals, neonatal intensive care units, as well as urgent care clinics. I am adept at organizing and producing documents for state, city, and local permitting reviews. I also have experience with code research for life safety requirements under IBC as well as FGI guidelines. My work in medical planning has led to a deep passion for design solutions that are culturally sensitive, environmentally aware, and highly efficient for care providers and patients.

My work with CBRE | Heery (FKA Heery International) was primarily in the healthcare industry with experience in university clinics as well as renovations in critical access hospitals and rural hospitals. My responsibilities grew from coordinating drawings with consultants for multi-million dollar projects to participating in client interviews. I've been tasked as lead designer on interior renovations as well as job captain for organizing and producing documents for state, city, and local permitting and review. I've had the pleasure to visit and work alongside multiple Heery offices throughout the country to deliver multi-million dollar design packages. While at Heery I have completed over 5,000 hours of logged IDP experience and have started the ARE exam process in the Colorado jurisdiction. Dungan Nequette Architects (now known as Nequette Architecture & Design) was an integral part of my experience with the work study program at Auburn's Urban Studio. The preliminary exposure to various design phases for multi-family housing provided a great core of knowledge to start my career. I was also tasked with developing 3D Models from principal sketches for a multi-million dollar estate. My primary task as a summer intern was to develop and generate AutoCAD as built documents for historical renovations. Other duties included attending client and consultant meetings with the principal architect as well as working on multiple design phases for K-12 schools, office buildings, and historical retrofits.
