Mr Karim Ben Amara is Head of the Sustainable Mobility Service under the Directorate of Road Transport of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of Morocco. Mr Ben Amara works on projects aimed at the development of sustainable mobility (especially in road transport), as well as technical regulations of vehicles (approval and technical control of vehicles : standards and regulations related to respect of the environment, safety, and energy efficiency of vehicles ). Mr Ben Amara previously worked in the National Testing and Approval Center, where he was responsible for audits of technical vehicle inspection centers, and subsequently for the technical regulations of vehicles linked to safety and respect for the environment (approval and technical control of vehicles). Mr Ben Amara is also a member of the National Commission for Climate Change and Biodiversity in Morocco.
