• Role of a trusted advisor that provides advice, guidance and support to the CIB business including transactional advice ( corporate deals, syndicate loans, acquisition finance), conflicts, new products and services initiatives/projects• Form part of a professional compliance team which frequently interacts with the Regional CIB Compliance team, ensuring that the relevant policies and regulations are applied and embedded in business to robustly manage regulatory ,reputational, and conduct risk• Responsible for managing the CIB Compliance processes, e.g. complaints process, conflict clearance process, wall crossings, Personal account Dealing, Outside Business Interests, gift and entertainment approvals.• Manage and oversees the implementation of the governance and control framework for Markets, Corporate Banking• Conducted Monitoring and Surveillance on CIB Polices and control environment.• Designed and implemented trainings to Compliance and Business Staff to raise awareness on CIB Policies, controls and requirements.

 I rotated in all the Compliance functions within 1 year namely, Regulatory Affairs, CIB Compliance Advisory, Monitoring and Training, and finally Financial Crime. Acquired excellent knowledge in all aspects of Compliance with regards to Central Bank Regulations, Governance and Supervision, conduct risk, Anti-Money Laundering analysis, Bank’s Policies, as well as Sanctions processes During the Regulatory Affairs period, I have ensured that all the central Bank regulations during that period are circulated to all the relevant stakeholders, and ensured that are embedded correctly, also I acted as advisor to the business when it comes to inward, outward transfers, deposits,Foreign currency exchange and other transactions as well as reviewed certain reports and ensured that they are submitted to the Central Bank accurately and on time. During the Monitoring and Training period, I have conducted certain reviews on specific departments on Local regulations as well as Financial Crime policies and ensured that they are complied with. I have identified certain issues and provided remediate actions to close such issues During the Financial Crime period, I have worked as an Anti-Money Laundering analyst where I reviewed specific suspicious transactions, and come up with a decision whether to report a Suspicious Activity Report or not to the Central Bank.
