In this current role, I direct Multifamily Housing financial planning and analysis function to achieve company's revenue, profitability, and return targets. I play an integral role in the quarterly forecast process, annual strategic planning process, and long-term financial forecast as well as assist with acquisition financial due diligence and integration. One of my key responsibilities is to deliver business partnering support with insightful analysis to finance and business leaders in support of strategic objectives from strategic decision making to execution. Alongside that, I collaborate with members of Global Housing's leadership team to develop short and long term business plans in support of on-going and strategic initiatives. During my tenure, I steered efforts in leading the process for the quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, and strategic plan; reported directly to the Vice President of Finance. I served as the business partner across business segments and corporate partners to align business goals and overall financial targets for the Enterprise. One of my key roles was to coordinated and oversaw the preparation of analysis for quarterly Audit Committee deliverables, earnings call and provide analytics and insights on results. Furthermore, I assisted with acquisition analytics and perform special projects as required.As a Finance Director, I oversaw various integration financial activities during the acquisition of a $45M business. I work on the divestiture of four businesses. Steer efforts in streamlining mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by mapping all interdependencies and activities associated with integrations. I direct accounting operations for purchase price allocation, manage sox controls, draft acquisition-related external reporting disclosures, and assist with finance integration at the acquired firm. Additionally, I provided technical accounting help for acquisitions as well as general controller's group difficulties (revenue recognition, equity compensation accounting, and self-insurance).• Developed key expense & FTE metrics for Board of Director level review and presentations.• Provided recommendations of automated improvements for future acquisitions.• Contributed in due diligence work & business divestiture of four previously acquired businesses• Translated finance acumen to costs for business leaders.• Managed a department of seven comprised of staff-level and management level employees.• Created a new methodology for corporate expense allocations.• Decreased stranded costs by $7M to MCOM committee post business divestiture for Enterprise evaluation.

Being a key member of the organization, I directed financial operations of subsidiaries, creating company's financial statements and reports. Using my industry-related expertise, I efficiently performed a variety of complex financial and budgetary technical tasks in preparation of the enterprise (~$1.2B in revenue) annual operating budget. Along with that, I managed specific business unit (~$20M in annual revenue) budget & forecast activities for consolidation with Enterprise. Developed a formal process for financial monthly reviews of results as well as key operational metrics against prior year, plan & forecasted periods. Furthermore, I prepared user requirements & user testing for 3 modules for the Cognos Enterprise Planning Analytics implementation. I supervised product pricing model team for two new revolutionary products to the insurance industry.• Integrated the budgeting activities of the senior finance directors in the 3 operating business units with over 300 cost centers.• Developed and presented decision-based reporting to senior management to drive projects resulting in $10M of cost avoidance for the Company.• Created and maintain key metrics tracking and analysis, and improved depth of existing reporting, leading to costs savings of approximately $14M annually.
