Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program.Empower Me is an international award winning energy conservation and behaviour change program designed for and delivered by members of diverse, multilingual, and hard-to-reach communities. Bridging the gap left by other programs, Empower Me ensures participants understand their energy bills and choices so they can save energy, save money, protect the environment, and increase the comfort and safety of their homes. The program is currently available in 16 languages including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi, Tagalog, Arabic, Spanish and Korean.Community Power works alongside Indigenous communities to improve housing conditions. Through a holistic approach to housing, our comprehensive assessments, renovation planning, and construction management support unlock project funding and empower large scale renovations in remote communities that make homes safe, comfortable, durable, and energy efficient.The Home Upgrades Program (HUP) is a fully subsidized deep energy retrofit program designed specifically for low-to-moderate income households experiencing energy poverty. Developed to maximize energy bill reductions for households through a pragmatic and diagnostic approach, HUP supports families to reduce energy consumption in homes that need it most.
