I provide solutions for overwhelmed middle and high school parents to help manage school-related stress through a holistic approach to tutoring, test prep, parent coaching and wellness programs. Our virtual and in-person trainings and workshops empower parents and teachers to support their students both in school and at home, with a strong focus on developing a positive academic mindset and behaviors, along with social-emotional skills that will set students up for success in school and in life.We prepare students for optimal performance on admissions exams, including the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, PSAT, SAT, ACT and TOEFL. Our student-centered approach places a strong emphasis on helping students identify their strengths and unique gifts while fostering a Growth Mindset, so they quickly build confidence and are motivated to excel. Our students learn how to expand their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and study skills.

Providing individualized one-to-one lessons for middle and high school students, promoting compassion, emotional security, resourcefulness and critical thinking, while meeting the student's interests and academic needs.

In this role, I served as a liaison between Elevate Learning's Operations Department, Chicago Public School Site Managers and online tutors, ensuring that each e-learning session flowed seamlessly. This included monitoring sessions and addressing any technical, educational or behavioral concerns immediately. I managed up to 5 virtual tutoring sessions at once to ensure that learning was successfully taking place. I also audited and assessed instructor performance, documented findings, submitted daily reports to upper management and analyzed student assessment scores to determine content areas that required review. In the case of an absent tutor, I provided remedial lessons in K-12 math, reading, writing and ACT prep. Following the completion of each program, I collected feedback from students and School Site Managers to evaluate the overall program and ensure quality satisfaction.

In my role as an English Teacher in the Preparatory Year Program, I planned and facilitated engaging ESL lessons for first-year university students, graded exams, essays and assignments, administered and proctored English and non-English exams, maintained attendance records and grades, attended weekly meetings with team leaders to discuss issues and address concerns, participated in professional development and trainings, and provided students with constructive feedback, encouragement and motivational support.

In my role as an ESL Teacher at Scholastic Early Learning Center, I planned and delivered fun and interactive ESL lessons to young learners between the ages of 4 and 13 using Scholastic's digital smartboard curriculum. Each lesson consisted of physical games and activities that made each class exciting and interactive. As an active member of the center's teaching staff, I collaborated with colleagues at weekly meetings and professional development courses. To ensure continuous progress, I communicated with students and parents on a regular basis, providing feedback, as needed.
