Schools First Teachers’ Federal Credit Union

Popular Tech manages IT infrastructure for the Schools first teachers’ federal credit union, and they were in the process of upgrading all the computers at Schools first’s 40 branches located in Southern California. Popular Tech first contracted me to help support this upgrade. This procedure involved showing up at previously assigned branches along with a team of 4 to 6 other IT professionals (depending on size of the branch). We then enter the branch after business hours and proceed to change the hard drives on all the branches PCs with a previously imaged hard drive and perform basic configuration like joining the domain updating group policy and installing drivers and printers. This was a temporary contract for the duration of time it took to upgrade 40 branches only. My next assignment at Popular Tech was IT support for the OCASA (Orange County Association of Science and Arts) School district which lasted until I was offered a permanent position at B&A Engineering.

Ross Stores Distribution Center

I have recently been contracted by Insight Global a talent acquisition company to provide IT support at the Ross Stores Distribution Center in Moreno Valley CA. This position involves desktop support, software and hardware support and maintenance of PCs, micro PCs and thin clients. I also provide helpdesk support via a web based ticketing system. There is some active directory support limited to user management and permissions.

Saint Regis Monarch Beach Hotel And Resort

I was subcontracted by Robert Half to help with the turnover of the Saint Regis Monarch Beach Hotel and Resort in Dana Point to its new owners KSL Capital Partners. I provided technical support and helped with setting up IT training rooms for training internal staff to use POS terminals and new hotel software. I was responsible for setting up 87 POS terminals, copying windows ISO images to 92 New PCs and I was part of the team which helped replace the internal network. This was a temporary project which ended shortly after turnover of ownership to KSL.
