He received a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London. He also attended Université Claude Bernard Lyon I in France after obtaining his French Baccalaureate (Section D) from the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in Ankara. Karim is a French-American dual citizen.
