Former Safety Coordinator with a background in Supply Chain Operations. In my previous role as Supply Chain Specialist I oversaw communications equipment and supplies valued at twenty million dollars for more than six years with zero losses. In addition, I procured materials and managed order prices and quantities, received shipments and organized inventories, forecasted demand, responded to changes in demand, and resolved supply chain issues.However, ready for a change, I landed my biggest role (yet) as Store Manager in 2017. I worked in this position gaining more than five years of experience, including, but not limited to, managing a team, leading with confidence, and learning to balance short and long-term goals. While I was also good at hitting deadlines, collaborating, and overall being a team player, my biggest strength was leading through my actions and not my words. By leading with empathy I was able to develop and retain positive relations with both my team and clients, helping us to succeed together. By re-prioritizing tasks I was able to institute monthly performance reviews to identify issues which led to increased customer satisfaction ratings from 75% to 85%. Furthermore, I was able to reduce the average labor percentage of revenue from 21% to 18% through better scheduling practices. Today, I continue to challenge myself by exploring new ways to hone my skills and creatively meet the needs of the business.
