EVCS is one of the fastest growing public EV charging networks on the West Coast, with 1250+ DC Fast and Level 2 chargers across 220+ locations in California, Oregon, and Washington. I led the consumer business, overseeing, product and services, software solutions, customer support, strategic partnerships, business analytics and data management, policy, and marketing. Lead the work on electric vehicle grid integration (VGI) strategy, policy, and implementation, within the broader teams focusing on transportation electrification and grid innovation.➢ Strategy: Lead strategy design, covering EV managed charging (V1G) & vehicle-to-grid (V2G); identify short-term & long-term priorities; ensure coordination across several teams internally; launch new collaborations with industry partners (e.g. automakers, charging companies, trade organizations, academic and research institutes, etc.); hire and manage external consultants; advise on external projects & initiatives.➢ Policy: Lead policy articulation and coordination with state agencies, including Energy Commission (CEC), Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Air Resources Board (CARB), and Independent System Operator (CAISO), and California legislature. ➢ Implementation: Lead the design and execution of managed charging across PG&E’s EV programs and pilots, covering workplace, multi-unit-dwelling, fleet, rideshare, and public fast charging.➢ Modeling & analytics: lead quantitative analysis of VGI value across transportation sectors & grid services; oversee the development of modeling tools to quantify benefits & costs; support EV market forecasting in integrated resource planning.

Led the work on Vehicle Grid Integration (VGI) strategy, policy, and implementation, within the broader teams working on transportation electrification and grid innovation. I also co-led the work on hydrogen strategy and pilots, including and beyond transportation applications.

Led and contributed to three initiatives that aim to model the cost competitiveness of low carbon energy generation: (1) hydrogen polygeneration, (2) solar PV, and (3) carbon capture and storage. Work covered: techno-economic (e.g. feasibility, risk), policy (e.g. taxation, market regulation and services), and financial (e.g. levelized cost, NPV) analyses. Collaborated with multiple external stakeholders (e.g. company executives, project developers, legal counsel)

Developed a first-of-kind probabilistic market model to forecast competition and propose pricing strategies in residential solar PV. Analyzed 88 market factors and 32 positioning alternatives. Shell Technology Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Royal Dutch Shell. Designed a three-year roadmap to scope and partake in energy entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley. Identified 95+ and engaged with 28 stakeholders in academia, investment firms, incubators, startups, and public institutes. Led early-stage investment evaluation and due-diligence in three energy technology startups.
