Project: Raya Contact Centre at Palm Strip Mall – Plot 3 & 4.Two contact centres - high-end finishing & fitout including architectural, civil & electromechanical works with fast-track schedules.• Resolving design issues and revising and reviewing architectural drawings and specifications to respond to site conditions and fast-track construction. Checking and revising workshop drawings submitted by the main contractor.• Supervising the main contractor as the client’s representative, inspecting site to check progress and preparing progress reports. Identifying risks and delays, communicating these and facilitating problem-solving.• Inspecting construction work completed on site to monitor progress and quality ensuring compliance with the specifications and drawings. Collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers to resolve issues.• Administering contracts; reviewing, verifying and approving claims, variation orders and invoices & negotiating the revision of these to reflect the contract.• Signing the primary handover documents and verifying the final account.

I managed an engineering team of four including a civil engineer, technical office engineer and a foreman and oversaw a portfolio of projects in different stages of construction, accountable for managing contractors as the client representative with duties including:• Leading and coordinating the engineering team and supervising contractors to deliver projects and complete construction in accordance with the design, specification, quality, cost and schedule.• Identifying and resolving risks, handling design issues and inspecting construction. Chairing progress meetings and facilitating problem-solving. Revising architectural design to meet site conditions.• Preparing tender documentation to source new contractors and analysing responses to negotiate and award new contracts. Administering contracts, reviewing and verifying claims and variations to pay invoices.• Managing client relationships, reporting on progress and consulting with them through project delivery to realise their project goals.

I was responsible for managing the finishes packages for residential projects including apartments and townhouses along with commercial fit-out projects with duties including:• Coordinating with the design team to manage the finalisation of design packages for the fitout and finishing trades.• Completing architectural documentation as required to support the project.• Managing client relationships, coordinating with them to finalise finishes, colour schemes and materials.• Managing progress reporting and client communications through the project lifecycle.• Preparing project schedules and BOQs, managing procurement, ordering materials, engaging contractors and communicating project expectations. Managing costs and schedules to achieve targets and goals.• Leading a foreman and supervising construction ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings and quality requirements. Administering contracts, processing progress claims and variations and paying invoices.
