Recruitment of candidates for the Wounded Warrior Program for the U.S. House of Representatives. Coordinates with private sector entities and veteran service organizations in regard to Member offices for eligibility of employment for disabled veterans. Provides analytical and technical support to the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer regarded Member services for the entire House of Representatives. Manages a small team of interns, providing guidance and education related to legislative and administrative matters. Provides technical assistance to supervisors and employees regrading personnel management policies, records and automated data systems; Completes staff tasks in the Task Management Tool (TMT), including Congressional inquiries. Serves as a System Analyst/Manager with responsibility for operation, maintaining and managing multiple automated systems for military personnel, to include Interactive Personnel Electronics Records Management System and the G1 Portal web-based application. Reviews and processes military awards for recognition of Service members based on combat service, Presidential Recognition for service over 30 years, retirement, and all retroactive combat related awards.Achievement Highlights:  Key small team member responsible for developing and implementing a significant change to the promotion process for Army National Guard service members with emphasis on performance rather than longevity. Key small team member for a 2-year project which rewrote Army Regulation 600-8-22 (Military Awards Policy) to better support performance award recognition of Army National Guard service members.

Performed broad range of security oversight procedures to include reviewing security plans for new projects to ensure adequate information security and other control elements for classified materials. Advised subordinate organizations concerning personnel and facility security matters. Achievement Highlights:  Successfully conducted numerous organizational inspections, audits and reviews to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM). Reviewed classified contracts for compliance with security policies. Assisted with background investigations for contractors and government personnel via JPASS.

Achievement Highlights:  Conducted detailed forensics investigations and complex mathematical calculations to determine point of origination of incoming mortar fire. Managed unit intelligence gathering and analysis for the geographic area equivalent to a small city. Lead analytic efforts to identify and capture multiple high value targets. Identified three contract local national translators who were not providing accurate information to US Forces in Iraq.

Company Fire Support Noncommissioned Officer. Ensured the health, morale, welfare, and training of the squad. Managed the proper maintenance of vehicles and squad equipment valued at ~$4M; trained personnel in individual and collective tasks.Achievement Highlights:  Evaluated and documented training for over 700 personnel in reacting to indirect fire and call for fire techniques and attack aviation capabilities and procedures. Instructed a battalion fires starter live fire exercise with 100% success.
