Claims Analyst
CurrentI’m thrilled to join Gellert Global Group as a Claims Analyst, where I will apply my project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and Supply Chain Management degree to efficiently analyze and resolve claims. In this role, I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely processing and resolution of claims, while identifying opportunities for process improvements.Key Responsibilities:~Analyze and process claims in alignment with company policies and industry standards.~Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.~Utilize project management expertise to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.~Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate claims resolution and improve processes.~Manage multiple claims and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.~Communicate with external vendors including steamship liners, truck carriers, warehouses, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, inventory issues, and manufacturing/production concerns.~Enter, track, and maintain claims data in the internal system.~Research and analyze incidents to assess the validity of claims and potential losses.~Recommend and facilitate timely settlement and resolution of claims.~Guide vendors on corrective actions and improvements based on claims analysis.~Generate reports and conduct trend analysis to identify patterns in claims.~Work cross-functionally to manage the loss of old, surplus, or expired inventory through salvaging efforts.~Process Certificate of Liability Insurance requests and maintain related databases.~Assist Accounts Receivable with customer deductions related to shortages, damages, overages, returns, and rejections.~Coordinate with Logistics to manage the movement of damaged products.~Provide regular updates on claim progress to all stakeholders.~Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
