Licensed architect in the USA (California), as well as France and Morocco, Karim primarily specializes in entertainment, mixed-use, hospitality and sports developments.He has contributed to high profile projects spanning the globe, from the US and Europe, to the MENA region and China.Karim champions and embraces design excellence balanced with a deep knowledge of market strategy, business development and top-level project direction for large clients.As a director at FORREC, Karim led the successful design of Islamic Civilization Village, a 27 hectares groundbreaking edutainment destination in Madinah, as well as a 17 hectare luxury wellness resort in the kingdom's eastern province.Prior to joining FORREC, Karim was a senior project designer at Gensler, where he contributed to high profile large mixed-use projects such as the Parisian hotel casino in Macau, a 4 million square feet mixed-use, hospitality development comprised of a 38 story hotel high rise tower, mixed-use podium.
