I have hands on approach to dealing with complex issues and challenges, some examples are listed below: • I led annual multi-year budgeting and planning including long-term integrated implementation and phasing plan ($1.4 billion over 25 years) at UCA.• I worked with relevant government departments for operationalizing the Treaty rights and fiscal exemptions for UCA in Central Asia.• I established an effective grant management mechanism at UCA and managed ongoing strengthening at AKU; and worked with several multi-/bi-lateral donor agencies directly and through the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) donor units including Asian Development Bank, European Commission, USAID, Global Affairs Canada and International Development Research Centre, among others (more than 100 grants over $30 million secured up to 2019).• I successfully led the negotiations for $30m loan (tenure: 27 years with 7-year grace period) from the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation for financing the UCA campus construction in Khorog, Tajikistan.
