As a product manager I'm responsible for the LeanApps Life roadmap, the release content and product quality. My prime focus is to develop a product vision for LeanApps Life that is aligned with what is important for our (future) customers with respect to market developments and changing regulation & legislation.Starting 2014 the development process changed into Agile/Scrum. Therefore my role was changed to become a product owner of 2 scrum teams.

As an actuarial consultant my prime responsibility is to position LeanApps in good light to our (future) customers. Participating during initial sales demonstrations, conducting fit-gap analyses and providing tailored advice addressing business problems are a part of my daily job as an actuarial consultant. My speciality is brainstorming with customers to enable their legacy modernization efforts by:- migrating their home-grown systems to the modern LeanApps Life application- assist in configuration and implementation of new and innovative products in LeanApps Life helping our customers to differentiate themselves in the market- enable customers to upgrade their software to the latest LeanApps Life release As an actuarial consultant it is of paramount importance to meet customer requirements in terms of functionality required, but it is even more important to adhere to the functional vision for LeanApps Life, keeping the software as ‘standard’ as possible. It is a continuous challenge on the one hand to keep our customers satisfied, and on the other to act as a functional watch-dog safeguarding LeanApps interest.Alongside this, I am responsible for writing solution proposals, functional designs, assisting during functional and technical review sessions, participating in SCRUM demonstrations and providing functional guidance during the development process.
