The position has strong focus on strategic development on governance, managament, working methods and tools as well as stakeholder collaboration for increased pace in climate transition and for achieving the city's environmental and climate goals. Project Manager Climate Neutral Göteborg 2030
Climate Neutral Göteborg 2030 aims at contributing to and creating oppurtunities that will increase the pace of transition to climate neutrality , including the transformative ability and institutional capacity in the city for developing solutions at system level. Climate Neutral Göteborg 2030 will explore how digitalisation, through Virtual Gothenburg, can be used as a leverer for governance innovation and policy development, promote behavioural changes and accelerate transformation broadly amongst stakeholders. The project is part of Viable Cities, the national strategic innovation program with a focus on smart sustainable cities, where Göteborg together with eight other cities will drive the development and transition towards climate-neutral cities in Sweden. As Project Manager I am responsible for coordinating the different workpackages within the project, communication efforts and events, external partnerships and agreements, method development, ensuring compliance with plans, budgets and other requirements, collaboration and peer learning betwen cities, participate and coordinate with Viable Cities etc.

Organizations comprised in the support included e.g. SEAFDEC, FAO/RAP, and UNEP/COBSEA. A follow-up report of the Swedish post tsunami support to FAO in Southeast Asia was also conducted. The different assignments included planning, performing and compiling of reports, study trips visiting project sites and coastal communities, meetings with government representatives and representatives of different stakeholders in the region.
